A gas sampling bag is a specialised container designed for collecting, storing, and transporting gas samples for analysis. Gas sampling bags are made of chemically stable materials like aluminum foil and other high-quality polymers that prevent gas diffusion and contamination.

Method for detecting leaks in sampling bags;

1. Water test with inflation: Place the bag into the water and inflate, checking to see if there are any bubbles around the valve.
2. Water Test with Valve Closed: Put the bag in water, inflate the bag, close the valve and watch for bubbling at the valve.
3. Post-Inflation Bubble Check: First inflate the sampling bag, then put it in water and see if there are any bubbles in it.

With these three steps done, you’ll successfully be able to find if the valve is leaking or not.

Saveions aluminium foil gas sampling bag is made for more than one use. You should replace the pre installed gas three times with the standard gas or sample. Howeve,r after being purged with pure air or high purity nitrogen or before a refill with gas, the bag can be reused.

NOTE: To prevent damage from sharp objects and heat, store and use the bag away from open flames and high temperatures.

Applications:

The product is chemically stable and can securely contain common industrial gases over long periods of time without a loss in concentration. Collection of a wide range of gases: hydrogen (H2), oxygen (O2), nitrogen (N2), methane (CH4), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), as well as industrial, petrochemical, environmental, and greenhouse gases.

Product specifications:

1. Maximum Pressure: At all times this must be monitored that the inflation pressure does not exceed 100kpa.
2. Operating Temperature: Recommended temperature range is of -30°C to 80°C.
3. Gas Sampling: Collected gases should not be highly corrosive to polyethylene (PE) materials. For such gases we recommend our Tedlar or Teflon film gas sampling bags with Teflon valves or nozzles.
4. Film Material: Made of food grade aluminum foil composite film.

Precautions for switching use:

Close: Turn top cover clockwise until it is fully closed to secure the lateral air openings.

Open: Rotate the top cover counterclockwise approximately one turn, but no more than two turns, to open the lateral air holes for cooling.

Lateral air hole should be connected to a 4×6 mm or 5×7 mm latex or silicone tube.

NOTE: To switch from closed to open you need to rotate the top cap counterclockwise about one turn while inflating or vacuuming. When the small hole on the top cover creates a vacuum, the valve will be closed.
